Liked: extremely clean house, The host Mrs.Marija was is so nice and warm hearted person I've ever met in any other hostel. I'm so touched by her and miss her so much. The location is a bit far from the town but not a big deal.

Disliked: The triple room is much more worth pay than the double rooms even though you are two persons. because the view of triple room is wonderful.

Liked: The location was great - though a little hard to find at first. We were given a room with a balcony view over the Port of Dubrovnik. Maria, though her English wasn't perfect, was very helpful and accomodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable - great value for money!

Disliked: Some of the guests were a little unfriendly - everything else was perfect!

Liked: Maria (the owner) was lovely and very sweet. The rooms were clean and we were lucky to have the room with a balcony which had a gorgeous view of Port Gruz. The bathroom was clean with a good shower, and the kitchen had everything you would need. Both were cleaned daily.

Disliked: Being in Gruz, it was a 20 minute walk/10 minute bus ride from the Old Town. This wasn't an issue for us but it might be for some people. It's also up a hill so you have to walk up c.150 steps but they are really quite manageable.

Liked: Not to sound like everyone else, but Maria was lovely! She doesn't speak much English but she tries. The instructions are pretty clear on how to get there. Just remember it's from Gruz, the main bus station not Old City.

Disliked: Walking up the hill! It's not too bad, just make sure you go up the hill at the roundabout.

Liked: Beautiful view over the Harbour and a short walk down to the waterfront. Maria was very helpful and stored our one suitcase while we went on a cruise for a week. The free use of internet is also a very useful feature.

Liked: Absolutely spotless, great value for money, good bus connection from right outside into old town for 10 kunas, free use of computer for internet, fully equipped kitchen and lovely, friendly helpful hostess.

Disliked: The walk with our bags up the hill from the bus station (it was HOT that day) and the fact that there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms. Other than that a great guesthouse.

Disliked: no ac in rooms just in hall, one bathroom for multiple people, but usually not a problem.

Liked: I loved the treatment that Maria has given us, the owner. The accommodations are great. Me ha encantado el trato que nos ha dado Maria, la propietaria. Las acomodaciones son estupendas.

Disliked: I thought it was far from the old center of Dubrovinik, but this is not a problem, because transportation is right at the start of the hostel. Me ha parecido lejos del centro antiguo de Dubrovinik, pero esto no es un problema, pues hay transporte justo en la puesta del hostel.

Liked: Maria our hostess was extremely helpful. Having access to the internet is adefinite plus point and the locality close to the harbour was excellent for people contemplating a boat trip from Dubrovnik.

Liked: Good location near the main ferryport and bus station. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They let us check in at 9am as we arrived in Dubrovnik early. Rooms are spacious and clean, kitchen is good as is the bathroom. Plus , there is free wifi and information about the area . Bus number 8 takes you straight into the old town.

Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Quite a long walk to the old town but you can get a bus which takes two minutes.

Liked: Friendly owners and great location for access to the bus station, ferry docks, car rentals, and markets. A bit of a walk to the old town but easy local bus access out front if you don't feel like walking.

Disliked: If you get a room with a balcony (great view of the harbour), you may or maynot hear scooter engines throughout the night.

Liked: Maria was lovely, the facilties were really good. Kitchen had everything we needed. Internet worked really well.

Disliked: While it may be a little out of the oldtown, it is a nice 40min walk. Easily accessible by bus though

Liked: maria was super cool. really helpful with sussing the buses, wasnt an issue to push our booking back a night and even did our laundry! the place has a cool vibe. good lounge/kitchen area to chill at night. buses to everywhere are close and the bus station is really close. the sunset views from the veranda were amazing.

Disliked: nothing really. just a tad difficukt to get back after a big night out in the old town (25 mins walk )

Liked: The rooms were excellent. They were clean, and nicely furnished. Everything was very cheerful. There were only 3 rooms, so it was a more personal experience and we got to know the other travelers. The bathroom was shared between the 3 rooms (7 beds), and was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped, and great to use, and a good place to visit with the other travelers. Maria was fantastic, she was very helpful, telling us how to get to anything we needed, and she had lots of maps and bus schedules posted in the hallway to aid in travel plans. She also had a computer with Internet access in the kitchen/lounge area, and lots of pamphlets advertising activities in Dubrovnik. Plus you're always welcome to ask her for anything that you need, and she will do her best to help. Great value for the money.

Disliked: The floor in the bathroom always gets really wet after someone showers. The property was a bit up a hill, and it took us a bit of a walk to find it. It's pretty close to the bus station, but a bit of a walk from the old town. However, if you want to take a day cruise, the port is very close by.
